If for example a player is holding three of a kind in their hole cards, they can only use two of them in the final hand and the chances of another being drawn is reduced because the third card is out of the game. It is also worth stressing that there is no possibility of two flushes of the same suit occurring in the showdown hands, because at least three of the five community cards must be used by every player.
