One of the sports gambling arenas often forgotten with the predominance of football and horse racing is greyhound racing. Gambling on greyhounds is however big business in Ireland, and offers Irish gamblers gambling opportunities almost every day of the week either at the track or online. This week is no exception, and the run up to Christmas sees greyhound race meetings at eleven of our tracks over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Greyhound gambling is well served by the leading Irish bookmakers, often with live feeds to enhance our gambling experience and full race cards available on their online gambling sites. Tomorrow night sees greyhound race meetings at Kilkenny, Shelbourne Park and Waterford, followed on Thursday by seven more race cards throughout the country. Fans of greyhound race gambling could not ask for more opportunities to enjoy their sports gambling, with meetings at Clonmel, Curraheen Park, Dundalk, Enniscorthy, Galway, Limerick and of course Shelbourne Park. As if that were not enough there are another three meetings on Friday, including the Ted Hegarty Marathon at Harolds Cross. Greyhound racing has finally come of age and now provides excellent track facilities, with many hospitality packages enabling greyhound race goers to enjoy their gambling experience and have a thoroughly good night out. If you’ve never been to a greyhound track we would certainly recommend that you try it at least once. As with most other sports gambling, gambling on the dogs is usually done at a betting shop or increasingly at one of the online sports gambling sites, but the atmosphere of a live meeting takes some beating.
