Now that the football season is nearly over, gamblers on GAA sports can turn their attention to the early rounds of the Hurling championships, due to start on the 14th May. GAA sports gambling will find two very strong favourites even at this early stage of the major Hurling championships, with Tipperary at 8/11 with Paddy Power to take the Ulster Hurling Championship and Kilkenny at 8/13 also with Paddy Power to win the Leinster Hurling Championship. These two sides are also strong favourites for the All Ireland Championships later in the year, with Tipperary at 5/4 and Kilkenny at 2/1. Some gamblers on GAA sports may find these odds somewhat surprising so early in the tournaments, although clearly these two sides would both be expected to win their respective championships on form, and may be looking for a chance to predict an upset. Current odds with Paddy Power would place Galway and Dublin as second and third favourites behind Kilkenny in the Leinster championship, with Waterford and Cork behind Tipperary in the Ulster championships. For GAA sports gamblers, Hurling will probably be the focus of their attention over the coming weeks, and this may well be the best time to get good odds on their favourite sides for these major championships. Paddy Power are of course taking bets on each individual game in the series, and gamblers on GAA sports are advised to check the Paddy Power web site for further information throughout the season.
