We have written several explanations of the great dice gambling game of craps and we carry an explanation on these pages under the heading of casino where several online gambling casino games are covered but most simple explanations concern themselves with the simplest pass line and don’t pass line bets but if you want to play online craps then the next level of betting will add to your enjoyment. If you play craps you will understand what is meant by the point being set but if you do not then please read one of our other craps articles first and this next level of craps gambling takes place after the point has been set and the bets are called the “come” bet and the “don’t come” bet. These bets when playing online craps are not dissimilar to the pass line and don’t pass line bets but are placed after the point has been set or in other words after a 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 has been thrown and the gamble is on the outcome of the next or subsequent throws. The “come” bet when playing online craps will win if the next thrown is 2 or 3 and loses if the next throw is 7 or 11 with 12 being a push and exactly the opposite with the don’t come bet wins on 7 or 11 and loses on 2 or 3. The next stage when gambling on craps is when the thrown after the point being set is 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 in which case your bet will be moved by the croupier to the number on the board corresponding to the number thrown so if when you play online craps you have wondered why there are segments on the board for each number you now know. Craps play then continues by dice being thrown until either that number is repeated or a 7 is thrown which can take several throws and accounts for a bit of the excitement of the game. The “come” bet wins if the number is repeated first and the “don’t come” bet wins if a seven is thrown first. We hope that these extra bets will enhance your enjoyment of gambling on online craps.
