In this modern era of gambling online sports gambling fans have got used to be able to follow their favourite sports almost all year round, but there are still a few sports which do have a short break during the winter months. One of these is motor racing which although now definitely a global sport has just seen the final races of the 2015 season, leaving ardent motor racing gambling fans with almost four months to contemplate the start of the 2016 season. F! gambling enthusiasts have witnessed a season which many forecast would be a boring procession because of the dominance of the Mercedes cars under the new regulations, and although Mercedes were indeed the dominant team the race between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg did provide some exciting racing over the season. We also saw the gradual improvement in the performance of the Ferrari cars with Sebastion Vettel getting closer and closer as the season progressed. This bodes well for a more competitive season next year for motor race gambling fans although the bookmakers still have Lewis Hamilton as favourite to win a fourth World Championship title in 2016. Fans of gambling on motor sports have also seen a very close finish to the Moto GP motor cycle racing season, with Valentino Rossi pipped at the post for the World Championship in the final race of the season by Jorge Lorenzo. The final race in Valencia saw Rossi starting at the back of the grid after being penalised, but despite storming through the field to take fourth place it was not enough and the title was won by the winner Lorenzo by a mere 5 points. Both of these popular motor sports start their 2016 season on March 20th next year and sports gambling fans who enjoy gambling on F1 racing or gambling on Moto GP racing are no doubt looking forward to another interesting season.
