Motor racing fans who enjoy gambling on motor racing now have a month to consider their gambling selections if F1 motor racing gambling is their preferred gambling option. The mid- season break has started and the next race Is not until the 2nd September at Spa in Belgium. The nature of sport is such that sports gambling is almost never a foregone certainty, but in recent years gambling on F1 motor racing has been a little too predictable with Red Bull and Sebastion Vettel dominating. This season has been altogether different, with race wins spread amongst four different teams and six drivers. Who would have predicted that Alonso would be heading the driver’s championship table at this point of the season, or that Lotus would have secured a race win against the might of Red Bull and McLaren. Gambling on F1 racing is suddenly a lot more difficult this season and who knows how the cars will perform after the break. Lewis Hamilton’s win in Hungary shows that McLaren are finally catching the Red Bulls of Vettel and Webber, and both the driver’s championship and the Constructor’s title have begun to look wide open. Alonso currently holds a 40 point lead over Webber, with Vettel just 2 points further back in third. Motor racing gambling fans can get even money on Alonso winning the Championship with Paddy Power, but is Hamilton with 47 points to make up a good bet at 5/1 ?. Although Vettel currently trails his team mate by 2 points, Paddy Power have Vettel at 11/4, but Webber is currently at 11/1 and many motor race gambling fans may well think those are good odds. The Constructor’s title may be more predictable with Red Bull currently 2/9 with Paddy Power, but if you believe that McLaren finally have the speed and handling to challenge over the rest of the season, odds of 5/1 may look appealing. Whatever your choice, F1 motor racing is certainly having an interesting season.
