Online gambling need not affect your mortgage

In our general gambling news feature this week we have picked up rumours about mortgage providers examining bank statements before granting a mortgage which could apparently mean that payments to online gambling companies could either prevent you from getting a mortgage or be considered to reduce your available cash for repayments. For the benefit of our Irish gambling friends, general gambling news would like to point out that this report is coming from the UK and in any event it would only affect those with a gambling problem as the odd deposit into an online casino or other online gambling provider is unlikely to concern anybody too much.  Of course here at gambling.ie we have in the past done articles about online casino deposit methods which can be applied to any form of online gambling and which avoid these issues which are being reported in the general gambling news. A deposit into an online gambling account will only appear on a bank statement if you use a debit card; if you chose to deposit using a credit card it will only appear on your credit card statement but of course that might also be issued by your bank so if you want to avoid the problem altogether you should use an e-wallet such as PayPal or Moneybookers. Also as an alternative as the general gambling news has reported is the untraceable cash deposit but of course this is not available from all online gambling providers. It is however available from both Paddy Power and Ladbrokes which are probably two of the largest names in online gambling in Ireland. The exact methods of depositing cash differ slightly but the principle is that you can walk into one of their gambling premises and deposit cash over the counter and it can be credited to your online gambling account immediately. Despite the rather disturbing general gambling news there are ways around any problems.
